When to Replace
Replace the temperature probe when the grill displays inaccurate or unstable internal temperature readings, responds slowly to temperature changes, or cannot maintain reliable cooking temperature feedback. A damaged probe tip, worn wiring, or failed RTD terminals can also indicate that replacement is needed.
Installation Tips
- Disconnect power and allow the grill to cool completely before removing the existing probe.
- Compare the old probe, wire length, terminal arrangement, and mounting location with this part before installation.
- Route the 47-inch wire away from direct flame, hot surfaces, and moving components.
- Secure the probe using the supplied screws and nuts, then confirm that the probe is firmly mounted before operating the grill.
- Verify the temperature display after installation and confirm stable readings during initial use.
